Miku Omine -Pianist
She was born in Okinawa, Japan.
She began to study piano at the age of four. She graduated at music high school attached to The Faculty of Music Tokyo Geidai.
After she completed study under Prof.Piotr Paleczny in Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland in 2006 and also in Universitat der Kunste in Berlin, Germany under Prof. Elena Lapitzkaja in 2010.
Miku Omine won several important awards in international competitions including:
・1st Prize and Spicial Prize- at the 4th International Piano Competition "Arthur Rubinstein in memoriam"in Bydgoszcz, Poland (2000)
・1st Prize -at the 10th International Piano Competition in San Sebastian, Spain (2003)
・3rd Prize -at the 10th International Piano Competition of Escardes-Engordany Prize of the Principality of Andorra in Escardes-Engordany, Andorra(2004) and at the 16th Artur Schnabel Competition in Berlin,Germany (2008)
・5th Prize- at the 3rd E.Seiler International Piano Competition in Kitzingen, Germany (2003)
・Special Prize- at the 29th International Music Competition "Dr.Luis Sigall"in Vina del Mar, Chile (2002) and at the 56th "Prague Spring" International Music Competition in Prague, Czech Republic (2004)
・Soloptimist Prize- at the 55th International Piano Competition "Viotti" in Vercelli, Italy (2004)
・Semi-Finalist- at the 15th International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland (2005)
・Stainway Forderprize- as the best student in Berlin, Germany(2009)
Miku Omine has performed many solo recitals in Japan, Poland, Germany, the USA, Belgium, Spain, Kuwait and Cyprus.
She was a soloist of renowned symphonic orchestra in Okinawa, San Remo, Lomza, Rzeszow, Szczecin and Warsaw National Philharmonic Orchestra.
She has been also a guest of numerous piano festivals ? Chopin Forum, Paderewski Festival(Poland), PTNA World Festival (Japan), Quincena Music Festival(Spain), North Cyprus Music Festival(Cyprus).
She managed to play all piano solo works of Rachmaninov in Rachmaninov-Zykrus between 2013-2016.
Currently she is a jury member of PTNA Competition and a lecturer at Shobi University Japan.
